We get asked a lot of the same questions on a startlingly regular basis!
To save our time and yours, please take the time to read through this list of frequently asked questions. Chances are that your query will be among them.
LondonFurs holds its meets every three weeks, and special events at least twice a year. Refer to the meet calendar to know when and where they are, including how to get there.
Please read our Terms & Conditions (rules). By attending any LondonFurs Management Ltd operated meet or event you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
We do not charge a fee to attend the meets, however it is expected that food and drink consumed during the meet is purchased at the venue, in order to keep it a free-to-attend event.
We may charge for our special events, such as our summer parties. Please refer to details about those when they are announced.
For our regular meets, the answer is Yes, ID is required to enter. If you wish to purchase/consume alcohol during the course of the meet, it is advisable to ensure that you have suitable proof of age with you. It is also useful to have government issued ID if you are likely to be mistaken for being under the age of 18.
When attending one of our special events, such as the summer and winter parties, ID is also required to enter. The venues we rent for these events have their own security and it is a condition of hire that all of our attendees are able to produce proof of age on the door.
If you are attending any of our meets or parties, you will need to bring valid ID with you to gain entry to the venue.
Valid types of ID are:
Other types of ID are at the discretion of venue management. Bring valid ID to save any embarrassment on the door. Trying to argue with staff or venue security may see you banned from attending in future.
You must be at least 16 years old to attend our normal meets.
For our special events, such as the summer or winter parties, you must be at least 18 years old.
Exceptions cannot be made to this rule. These are due to licensing laws and other issues that venues need to incorporate. It does not make any difference if you are accompanied with a parent or guardian.
Nope! LondonFurs is a social space for all furries, not just the ones with costumes. We are very accommodating to both sides of the fandom.
Please see our press information details.
Commercial photography or videography at any LondonFurs meet or event is strictly prohibited.
The consumption of any food or drink that is not purchased from the venue is not permitted.
This is in order to stay within the terms of the venue's licensing arrangements, and to allow us to continue as a successful and respected organisation with our venue partners.
Our staff members can usually be found sporting their rather spiffy bright red LondonFurs Staff badges (with black and red lanyards).
