LondonFurs Staff
Comments, suggestions, or have a problem that needs to be resolved? Please let us know! We're here to help keep the meets a fun, safe and friendly place.
If you encounter a problem during a LondonFur Meet, it is very important that you come and find us as soon as possible. We cannot act retrospectively, and it's incredibly frustrating for us (and you!) to try and deal with something that could've been resolved at the meet in 2 minutes!
Contact with the committee outside of meet times for reporting problems should be done in private using our contact form or a direct email.
Committee
Bariki
Bariki is a freelance IT consultant from Hertfordshire with a penchant for fursuiting, horses and beer - not necessarily in that order. He's often the Committee member that encourages the community to part with its cash for LondonFurs' parties and other events, and is the token mouthpiece whenever someone is silly enough to give him a microphone. With nine years in the fandom under his belt, he's very approachable and always happy to help out where he can.
Lupus
Lupus Londonwolf is a Chartered Civil Engineer, old skool metalhead and rugger bugger from the Home Counties and has been involved with LondonFurs for a number of years - back for his second stint with the Committee. He's all too at home in a bar or pub setting and will be normally found with a tipple or two in paw. Despite his size he really is a softie and encourages you to come and introduce yourself. He won't bite.....hard.
Miyabi
Miyabi works as a design whore in the music industry. With a heavy interest in music production he often ends up as the fallback DJ for many of the LF parties. Miyabi keeps LondonFurs ticking over on various social networking sites and maintains the website, mailing list, and all that stuff. Also keeps the bar propped up during the meets. Quiet, sometimes outspoken, but friendly and approachable. Often spotted (or, indeed, rosetted) as a snowleopard in a suit.
Ani Boxer
Ani Boxer is a Londoner born and bred who is also poogily. He has been working within the entertainment industry since leaving university and is an avid music fan who loves to listen to and mix music. Ani loves a drink and a chat and is often seen hanging around the bar.
Camrath
Camrath's been a face on the scene since the closing days of the '90s, he feels like he's been there, done it, got the t-shirt and then had the t-shirt fade in the wash with regards to the furry experience. A personal trainer and owner of 'Lion's Pride Fitness' he also brings to the table five years of work in the security industry and is a badged SIA member. Camrath's main area of responsibility is the fursuit walk and in particular the leadership thereof where the combination of his loud voice and (usually) 'distinctive' costume (be it bodypaint or zentai) can normally be seen playing sheep-lion. Though he may loook like a fierce beast, he's just a big friendly housecat, really. Responds well to gifts of dead zebra...
Sub-Committee
Kittiah
Kittiah's an I.T project geek by day and an aspiring performance poet by night. He's a house-cat with an intense love of the English language, which is why you'll probably hear him before you see him. This feline's been around the LondonFurs for over a decade, and nowadays lends a paw to the commitee as a copy writer and communications guy. He loves to talk, so come talk to him!
TiWolf
TiWolf has been a familiar face around the meets for some time, and has been alert with regard to fursuit activities since being drafted in to lead a fursuit walk in 2008. Somewhat a Connoisseur of vintage technology, 20th century design and retro games; he is always happy to engage in a lively (albeit often one sided) discussion. Now officially running the furwalk alongside Camrath, Ti strives to plan out a route that everyone will like (he thinks he's done it this time)
We're here to facilitate the LondonFurs meets, not rule with an iron fist. Come say hi! Buy us drinks!
You can find us in our bright red LondonFurs Staff t-shirts.
