During our summer weekender, many of you will be wishing to bring and wear fursuits. This quick post will hopefully answer any questions people have and give some simple guidelines to ensure everyone is happy and safe.
You are very welcome to fursuit on the boat but please be aware that if you have not bought a fursuit bag ticket, you will not be able to bring a fursuit case with you on board. We recommend not bringing a full suit onto the boat if you do not have a fursuit bag ticket – space is at a premium. Please don’t leave bodysuits / fursuit parts in the aisles or doorways as this will inhibit access to the other attendees and boat crew.
As always, we’ve organised an excursion from the summer party venue on Saturday which will be leaving at 3pm and will take the fursuiters to Trinity Square Gardens where they can play and interact with the public and other attendees. We will then be holding a photoshoot which will also include non-suiters and members of the public. This will be held at the destination (Trinity Square Gardens) but we will also organise a photoshoot back at the venue for anyone not wishing to come on the walk.
Here is a map of the route we will be taking along with written instructions:
Always remember when fursuiting to stay hydrated, have a bottle of water to hand and make sure you have at least one non-suiter that you know who can assist you and ensure you are safe. During the fursuit walk, our fursuiting team will make every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of our attendees but it is important for you to ensure you have your own water and a trusted spotter.
While fursuiting in public, please respect your surroundings (shops, businesses) and the personal space of others (full terms and conditions are here).
Other than that, see you Saturday, and have fun!
