Aloha! LondonFurs Summer Party

Be part of the most delightful Hawaiian soirée this side of Honolulu. Grab your grass skirts, haul out your hawaiian shirts and get into the groove of our laid-back, luau vibe.

When?

The party will be held on Saturday 17th July 2010 from 12pm (noon) until 11pm. It will replace the usual LondonFur meet that day.

Where?

We have a new, larger venue especially for the party. The fabulous Wall Bar, Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1HU (click here for a Google Maps link) will host us for the full 11 hours.

A Parisian style venue over two floors, The Wall has impressive features, including its beautiful sun terraces, ample indoor space to drink, socialise and fursuit. With bars over two levels, including a dancefloor (with sound zoning so you can always find a quiet spot), plus a dedicated room for suiters and changing; we're very excited to hold this event here.

Events

Aside from the swaying of grass skirts, the flicker of tiki lamps and the gentle roll of good natured conversation, the summer party will also cater to the following events throughout the day.

Including:

• Artists Corner
• UKFur Market Stall
• Live DJs from 6pm onwards
• Fursuit Walk

We've also got a couple of other awesome additions to this party that we've yet to confirm, so to avoid disappointment we'll be telling you about those later.

How much will it cost?

This event is absolutely free to attend!

Due to the fantastic generosity of our community we can afford to offer this evening free of charge!

You will, of course, still have to pay for your own drinks and food! The bar is very reasonably priced for central London (you'll find the prices to be lower than our current meet venues, too).

Food will be available from the venue from 2-8pm.

Please note that due to contractual obligations with the venue that this event is OVER 18s ONLY for the entire day.

As this event is being operated by the LondonFurs committee, you are still beholden to the LondonFurs Code of Conduct. This is currently hosted on the LondonFurs forum. You will need to create an account if you do not already have one.
